Relative Fields in a Garden, a multimedia
season installation is at The
Queens Museum. This exhibition
feature an artistic mother-daughter
collaboration. Created by mother Liz
Philips and daughter Heidi Howard,
this 40-foot wall combines Howard’s
vivid portrait with Philips sound work,
which creates interactive sound fi elds.
As a part of the Museum’s large wall
series, the museum has featured yearlong
commissions by women-identifi ed
artists.

will host their 8th annual parish
fundraiser in McLaughlin Hall which
includes the Taste of the World food
festival. Taste of the World food festival
serves the world on a platter for their
attendees. Food will come from all over.
Some of the vendors include: Jack &
Nellie’s, Rove, Tuscan Hills, Portofi no,
Matiz, La Dolce Italia Bakery, La Vigna,
Rimtin, Cipollina Gourmet Italian
Market, Keuka Kafe, La Boulangerie,

Vietnamese Shoppe Guantanamera,
Alba Pizzeria and Restaurant, new

Kandel, Clowning Around Tours gives
attendees the chance to experience a
real circus adventure. This is not just
a show. Your ticket to the tour gets you
a real interactive experience, which
makes Flushing Meadows’ World’s
Fairs history come alive. The event has
a hands-on cornucopia of clown antics,
miming, balloon sword play, balloons
of all shapes and sizes, juggling, kazoos,
harmonicas and more. Part of the show
includes historic sites explored from
a clown’s point of view as well. This is
New York City’s only interactive clowning
around circus experience
