 Polish-Canadian  pianist  Daniel  
 Wnukowski will perform at Queens  
 College for the Karol Rathaus Festival  
 which honors the musician’s work.  
 Rathaus, the college’s first professor  
 of  composition  had  a  flourishing  
 career in Berlin. However, in 1932  
 he  had  to  flee  the  country  due  to  
 political circumstances in Germany.  
 He  will  perform  the  composer’s  
 Piano Concerto with The Orchestra  
 Now under Leon Botstein in LeFrak  
 Concert  Hall  at  Queens  College.  
 The festival also includes the 1936  
 British drama Broken Blossoms and  
 a lecture by Grammy award-winning  
 record producer Dr. Michael Haas.

 The Museum of the Moving Image  
 presents  The  Other  Me  which  is  
 part of the MoMi’s Greek fi  lm series.

 a story of a professor of criminology  
 who works with  the police  to  solve  
 a  case  about  serial  murders.  The  
 fi lm had originally been withdrawn  
 from  commercial  circulation when  
 a murderer told the media that The  
 Other Me infl uenced him. This fi  lm
