York died on Monday, January 21, at the age
of 82. A native of Alibunar, Yugoslavia, she
was the beloved wife of George Kotec and

ANN STEINMANN of Glendale died
on Monday, January 21, at the age of 91. A
native of the United States, she was the
beloved aunt of 12 nieces and nephews,
loving daughter of the late William and
Barbara Steinmann and dear sister of
Marion, Catherine, George, Harry, Micky,
Jimmy, Bill and Ed. She was an active member
of Sacred Heart Parish in Glendale. A
Mass of Christian Burial was off ered at
Sacred Heart Church, Glendale, by Father
John Fullum, followed by interment at St.
John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the
direction of George Werst Funeral Home,

75. A native of Brooklyn, she was the dear
sister of Thomas Sullivan, Elizabeth Bates

SALVATORE CUCCHIARA died on
Friday, January 18, at the age of 62. He
was the beloved father of Vita, Giuseppe,
Anthony and Annamaria Cucchiara; loving
brother of Pietro and Nina Cucchiara,
Benedetto and Maddalena Cucchiara, and
Agata and Benedetto Patti; and cherished
uncle of Vita, Giuseppe, Rosario, Vita,
Bettina, Phyllis, Vita, Sabrina, Frank, Rose,
Joe, Maria, Anna and Calogero. He was
also the great-uncle of 18 great-nieces and
great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial
