VIGGO A. LAMMER died on Sunday,
January 13, at the age of 64. He was
the son of the late Haakon and Helena
Lammer, loving cousin of Anna Marie
Mirski-Rebecchi, Regina Mirski-Smith,
Steven Mirski and Irene Kisonas, and
dear friend of Danny and Larry. Services
were off ered on Friday, January

ZOITA COCEA of Woodhaven died
on Saturday, January 12, at the age of 61.
A native of Tulcea, Romania, she was
the beloved wife of Iancu Cocea, devoted
mother of Stefan Cocea and Maria
Stilu, and dear sister of Nicolae Zguma.
She is also survived by 2 grandchildren.
A Divine Liturgy was off ered at Descent
of the Holy Spirit Romanian Orthodox
Church, Ridgewood, by Reverend Ionut
Preda, followed by interment at All
Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under
the direction of Morton Funeral Home/

EMELIA DANIELE died on Saturday,
January 12, at the age of 72. She
was the beloved mother of John Alex
and Michele Morales, April Flores and
the late Nicholas Flores, and cherished
grandmother of Nikki and Jesse. Religious
services will take place at 7:15 p.m.
on Friday, January 18, followed by funeral
services at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday,
January 19, at Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. Cremation
at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village,
will follow Saturday’s services.

MARGARET LATERZA died on
Saturday, January 12, at the age of 91.
She was the wife of the late Eugene
Laterza and sister of the late Josephine
Svetics, Louise Kelly and Lorraine
Gentile. She was also a cherished aunt
to numerous nieces and nephews. A

on Wednesday, January 16, at Sacred
Heart Church, Glendale, followed by
interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle
Village, under the direction of Papavero

January 11, at the age of 105. She was
the beloved mother of Penelope Van
Maldeghem, Michael Galas, Christopher
Galas and the late Claire Hamba,
and cherished grandmother of eight
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren
and fi ve great-great-grandchildren.

age of 75. A native of Hatillo, Puerto
