Cops seek man who shot
woman in chest in Jamaica
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who
shot a woman in the chest outside of the
Queens County Family Court building in
Jamaica earlier this month.
On Sunday, Dec. 13, around 8:50 p.m.,
a 56-year-old woman was outside of the
court building located at 89-14 Parsons
Blvd., when an unidentifi ed man fi red
a gun, striking the woman in the chest,
according to the NYPD.
EMS personnel arrived at the scene and
rushed the woman to Jamaica Hospital
Medical Center in stable condition.
Th e shooter ran off in an unknown
direction aft er the incident, cops said.
Th e man had allegedly been eating at
the Dallas BBQ restaurant next door to
the court house prior to the shooting.
Police recovered surveillance footage of
the suspect from inside the restaurant.
No arrests have been made and the
investigation is ongoing.

Duo steals over $10K
worth of vape and tobacco
product from Astoria

Police are searching for two men who
stole $10,000 worth of vape and tobacco
products from an Astoria smoke shop
last month.
On Th ursday, Nov. 26, around 3:30
a.m., two unidentifi ed men, broke the
front window of Cloud Beast, located at
22-05 35th St., according to the NYPD.
Once inside the shop, the duo began to
take tobacco, as well as vaping and electronic
products, valued around $10,200,
cops said. Th e men then ran off in an
unknown direction.
No injuries were reported as a result of
the burglary.
Police describe one of the men as
standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing
around 170 pounds. He was last seen
wearing a dark-colored bubble jacket
and a dark-colored hooded sweater. Th e
second man was last seen wearing a
dark-colored jacket and a light-colored
hooded sweater.
No arrests have been made and the
investigation is ongoing.

Three sought for Jamaica
Estates home invasion robbery
Police are searching for three suspects
who posed as fl ower delivery
men, assaulted a woman, broke into her
Jamaica Estates home and stole approximately
$20,000 worth of loot on the aft ernoon
of Friday, Dec. 18, according to
authorities.
An unidentifi ed man rang the doorbell
of a home on Haddon Street just before 1
p.m. on Dec. 18, claiming he was a fl ower
deliveryman. When the woman opened
the door, the man pushed her down to the
ground and struck her in the face with an
unknown object, according to authorities.
A second man then exited a white van
outside the house, as a third man exited a
black sedan, police said. Th e trio entered
the home and gathered approximately
$20,000 worth of jewelry and clothing
before fl eeing in an unknown direction,
according to authorities.
EMS later arrived at the scene and
transported the victim to Long Island
Jewish Medical Center, where she is in
stable condition with injuries to her face
and ear, police said.
Authorities describe all three suspects
as men with dark complexions between
the ages of 20 and 25, wearing all black
clothing. Th ey stood between 5 feet, 4
inches and 5 feet, 7 inches tall, police said.
Police released surveillance video taken
from outside the home on Friday that
shows one of the suspects approaching
the house with fl owers in hand. Th e video
goes on to show the other two suspects
approaching the home.
Police also released images of one of the
suspects, along with the white van and
black sedan.
