Abiding by the motto “create your own masterpieces,” Piecasso’s buildyour own pizza option allows guests to craft their own unique “fast fi red” pies from an extensive menu of toppings, crusts and sauces in under fi ve minutes, starting at $8 per pie. Begin your culinary venture by selecting your own 12-inch pie crust. Classic, whole wheat, rosemary herb, hot and spicy and gluten-free options are available. Next, choose from a range of savory sauces, from the traditional plum tomato and classic red to the more indulgent pesto, white cream, tazziki sauce or truffl e oil. Build fl avor through a wide variety of toppings, including bacon, prosciutto, salami, gyro meat and grilled chicken. Meat-free options include artichoke, pineapple, cucumber, arugula, jalapenos, avocado, zucchini and sautéed onions, to name only a few. Top with your choice of mozzarella, blue cheese, feta, fresh mozzarella, ricotta or shaved Parmigiano. “It’s kind of a futuristic take on a traditional pizzeria,” explained head manager Sebastian Melik. “We want to create a unique experience for our customers by letting people make their own pizza. Now you, the consumer, can be artistic and choose what you want.” In addition to the build-your-own option, Piecasso also offers a unique menu of 12” Signature Pizzas. Best sellers include the margherita ($9), chicken bacon ranch ($10) and the “Piesciutto” ($9), a rich, earthy mix of salad, arugula, prosciutto slices and truffl e oil drizzle. The Greek ($10) combines white sauce, lettuce, feta, onion, tomatoes, black olives and chicken on a classic crust. For southwestern fl avor, try the South of the Boarder ($10), a zesty mix of fi re crust topped with spicy tomato sauce, meat, Monterey Jack, beans, mozzarella, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Pizza is not the only dish on the menu at Piecasso. They also feature build-your-own salads and wraps, as well as eggplant, grilled chicken and classic Italian panini. Hungry diners can also choose from traditional pizzeria favorites like calzones, rice balls, stromboli and panelle sandwiches, as well as onion and grandma pizza by the slice. Piecasso also offers a fun and unique dessert menu guaranteed to provide a sweet fi nish to any meal. Their popular Nutella calzones ($9) are a delicious mix of hazelnut spread with chocolate and ricotta in a doughy shell. The s’mores pizza ($7), Piecasso’s take on the traditional campfi re dessert, blends rich marshmallow and chocolate with graham cracker. For a more decadent option, try the Oreo cookie calzone ($8), a sweet mix of cannoli cream, ricotta, Oreos and chocolate. Not in the mood for a large dessert? Bite-sized treats like the fried Oreos (three for $1) and Nutella banana rolls ($2) are also available. Piecasso’s dining room is both warm and inviting, with a modern twist. Guests can dine at tables covered in bright faux newsprint, or at one of the large wooden farmhouse tables available for larger parties. The sun-fi lled and airy, loft-like space is dotted with cheery pops of yellow, green and orange, making for a bright and creative vibe. Piecasso also delivers within a one mile radius and offers a few seasonal specials. The NLF game day special includes three classic pies, one Nutella pizza, mozzarella sticks and soda for $20.
