It is presented each year to an outstanding individual or individuals who have had a major impact on the advancement of patient care, medical education, research or the health and well-being of the community. The Theresa Lang Award recognizes outstanding achievement in the areas of research, medical education or patient care. This is the highest award offered to a member of the NYP/Queens medical staff. Proceeds of the gala will benefit the continued expansion of our comprehensive cancer program, making it possible for NYP/Queens to continue to provide a higher level of cancer care right here in Queens.
