According to authorities, the bandits — armed with a firearm, stun gun and knives — forced their way inside a 30-year-old man’s Elm Avenue residence at 4:17 a.m. on Oct. 3. When the victim tried to fight off the duo, police said, they assaulted him with the stun gun and slashed him about the body. They then removed an undetermined amount of cash from a safe and two watches, then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim brought himself to Flushing Hospital for treatment, and the home invasion was reported to the 109th Precinct. Following an investigation, detectives arrested the victim’s roommate — Antonio Cordova, 41 — and charged him with first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. According to police, Cordova allegedly showed the bandits the apartment prior to the home invasion. Anyone with information regarding the robbers’ whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800- 577-TIPS. 111th Precinct Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, Fresh Meadows Person of interest sought in Bayside house party shooting The NYPD released on Oct. 6 video footage of a man wanted for questioning in connection with last month’s shooting at a house party in Bayside that left two male guests injured. Police described the person of interest as a black male who was last seen wearing a black shirt and red jacket. The 2-second video shows the man apparently being physically restrained by other individuals. The shooting occurred at about 12:12 a.m. on Oct. 25 inside a mansion on 28th Avenue near 212th Street. Reportedly, the home was rented through Airbnb to individuals who organized a Halloween-themed party where male guests were charged admission for entry. Authorities said the two victims, ages 23 and 27, were both shot in the torso outside the home after getting involved in an argument with an unidentified man. Paramedics rushed the 27-yearold to New York Presbyterian Queens in Flushing in critical condition; the 23-year-old was taken to North Shore Hospital in Manhasset and listed in stable condition. Both are making recoveries. Anyone with information regarding the shooting or the whereabouts of the person of interest is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS 112th Precinct Forest Hills, Rego Park Police searching for three suspects who robbed teenager in Rego Park The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance for help in identifying and locating three suspects in connection to a robbery that occurred in Rego Park. Luis Zambrano, 30, of 150th Street in Flushing was arraigned on 15 counts including seconddegree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, unauthorized used of a vehicle, attempted petit larceny and intimidating a victim or witness.
