Crook punches woman in
face inside Kew Gardens
subway station: NYPD
Th e NYPD is looking for the assailant
who punched a woman in the face in a
Kew Gardens subway station earlier this
month.
On Wednesday, Oct. 7, around 8:50
a.m,, a 24-year-old woman was waiting
for the train at the Union Turnpike-Kew
Gardens subway station when an unidentifi
ed man approached her, according to
the NYPD.
Suddenly, the man punched the woman
in the face with a closed fi st and ran off ,
cops said.
Th e 24-year-old refused medical attention
at the scene.
Police later recovered surveillance footage
of the suspect from cameras in the
subway station.
Th e suspect is described as being
around 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing around
160 pounds with brown eyes and black
short hair, according to the NYPD. He
was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, blue
jeans, white sneakers and a silver chain
around his neck.

Man robs deli at gunpoint
in Ridgewood: NYPD
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who
robbed a Ridgewood deli at gunpoint earlier
this week.
On Tuesday, Oct. 20, around midnight,
an unidentifi ed man walked into the
Jimmy Deli and Grocery, located at 1683
Woodbine St., according to the NYPD.
Walking up to the counter, the man
took out a handgun and demanded an

Cops seek suspect who
raped a woman in Jamaica
alleyway this summer
Cops are looking for a man who raped
a woman in a Jamaica alley over the
summer.
Authorities say that at 11 p.m. on Aug.
21, a 36-year-old woman was walking
in the vicinity of 90th Avenue and 171st
Street when the suspect forced her into
an alleyway. Th e suspect then pushed
the victim to the ground and raped her.
Th e NYPD has identifi ed the suspect
as Daniel Reyes Hernandez, also known
as “Maynor.” He is described as a white
man between 20 to 30 years of age.

man in his late 20s, police said. He was
last seen wearing a black hooded sweater,
black pants and black and white sneakers.
No arrests have been made and the
investigation is ongoing.
