Each and every day, we
see the disastrous results of
our city’s reckless leadership:
endless shootings, subway
stabbings, police defunded
and unable to do their jobs,
high property taxes, homeless
wandering the streets,
hotels turned into halfway
houses for criminals and
small businesses struggling.
But you can help turn the
Borough of Queens back in
the right direction by voting
for Joann Ariola for Queens
Borough President. Joann
is not a government bureaucrat
who will do whatever
City Hall tells her to do. She
will stand up to Bill de Blasio
and his failed, radical policies.
Joann is a wife, mother,
grandmother, longtime civic
leader, healthcare administrator
and supporter of our
police. Her common-sense
platform will restore law and
order to our streets.
Joann Ariola knows
that if we don’t have public
safety, we don’t have anything.
That’s why she’s been
endorsed by the NYC Police
Benevolent Association, Sergeants
Benevolent Association,
Detectives Endowment
Association, Lieutenants
Benevolent Association, Captains
Endowment Association,
NYS Court Officers Association
and the NYS Court
Officers Association. They
know she will fight to restore
funding to our police and
make sure they have what
they need to keep us safe.
Joann will fight to restore
cash bail for violent criminals.
She believes in keeping
Rikers Island open and not
building expensive jails in
our neighborhoods. She will
also stop large and dangerous
homeless shelters and
halfway houses from being
forced on our communities.
Joann doesn’t want her
children and grandchildren
to move out of New York because
it’s too dangerous or
too expensive. That’s why
she’ll fight for property tax
reform in Queens, so that
everyone can afford to live
here.
Our government made it
too difficult to run a small
business even before the
pandemic. But inconsistent
policies and draconian enforcement
have made it impossible.
In de Blasio’s New
York, the only businesses
that can thrive are moving
companies and mortuaries.
That’s why Joann will
remove overly burdensome
restrictions, fines and fees
and help Queens businesses
come roaring back to life.
Joann knows that our
children are the city’s most
valuable resource and she
believes parents should have
the final say in their education.
She will protect charter
schools, as well as the Gifted
and Talented programs and
the SHSAT, so that our children
and our city can have a
bright future.
No stranger to building
relationships with elected
officials on both sides of the
aisle, Joann Ariola has also
been endorsed by Democratic
Council Member Robert
Holden and Republican
Council Member Eric Ulrich,
as well as the New York Post.
If you want a safer, more
prosperous Queens, vote for
Joann Ariola for Queens
Borough President.
