Sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross, our school welcomes students of all faiths, from every background. We are part of a 160-year tradition of Catholic education in the United States begun at the University of Notre Dame. At Holy Cross High School students are free to discover and develop their own intellectual, religious, ethical, athletic, creative and leadership abilities, in smaller classes, under the guidance of teachers and mentors who specialize in educating adolescent boys. Our personalized approach ensures that no one falls through the cracks here. Everybody knows your name, and at the end of the day, it’s about how we have cared for one another that counts the most. All courses at Holy Cross are college preparatory and all students graduate with a Regents Diploma. Our boys are placed in classes which seek to challenge them at a level of difficulty commensurate with their abilities, keeping a keen eye on their potential. We offer a wide range of innovative electives and extracurricular activities, many implemented based on feedback from students themselves. At Holy Cross it is not only the destination that counts, but making sure our boys have ADVERTORIAL plenty of opportunities around them to enjoy the journey while realizing their dreams and achieving their goals. It is about family, brotherhood, and making bonds that last a lifetime. Christ the King High School held it’s annual Open House on Sunday, October 5, 2014, where it was announced by Board of Trustees Chairman, Serphin R. Maltese, that all students who attend Christ the King High School beginning with the 2015-2016 School Year, will participate in the new CK Tuition Guarantee Program. Board of Trustees Chair, Serphin R. Maltese said, “Christ the King High School recognizes the sacrifices that families make in order to ensure a quality Catholic education, which is why, as of next year, we will guarantee that your child’s tuition will not increase while at Christ the King High School.” “Over the past 52 years, Christ the King High School has been committed to offering its students a safe environment, an excellent education, a place to learn personal responsibility, an opportunity to build a strong body as well as a sharp mind, the challenge of competition in a first class sports program, and a home that places a premium on spiritual growth,” concluded Serphin R. Maltese. For more information regarding Christ the King High School’s awards and scholarships, please visit www. ctkny.org. ADVERTORIAL
