Secret Theatre Musicals is seeking Oliver and Artful Dodger for our December 2013 production of Oliver! The Musical Oliver - 8 and up, small and innocent looking, should be able to do a well spoken English accent. Strong pure singer Dodger - 8 and up, taller than Oliver, cheeky, should be able to do an authentic Cockney/Estuary English accent. Strong characterful singer Boys from 8 - 16 should apply to casting@secrettheatre.ocm - please send a recent photograph and a cover letter stating why you are the right person for the role. We will also be casting understudies for both Oliver and Dodger. Understudies will perform the role at least once Actors who have attended drama classes or who have taken part in productions preferred. Please prepare 16 bars of the following songs from the show. Oliver - Where is Love or I'll Do Anything Dodger - I'll Do Anything or Consider Yourself for the audition Looking for boys and girls 8 and up for the ensemble! We will be casting 30 Children who will appear along side professional adult actors for at least 4 performances each. Successful applicants will also attend British accent, singing and dancing rehearsals.
