The man entered the bank at 47-11 Queens Blvd. at approximately 5:54 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money, police said. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash and the man fl ed westbound on Queens Boulevard. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 feet, 3 inches tall, 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, dark sunglasses, dark blue T-shirt and blue jeans. All calls are strictly confi dential. 111th Precinct Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck Scam artists dupe elderly woman in Bayside Two con artists scammed an elderly woman out of $10,000 last week in Bayside, according to police. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying two female suspects wanted in connection to a grand larceny. The individuals approached the 90-yearold victim at the corner of Francis Lewis Boulevard and 35th Avenue as she was returning home from food shopping. The suspects presented the elderly woman with a wallet they claimed to have found and asked if it was hers. After a conversation about what to do with the found wallet, the two females offered the victim a ride home, which she accepted. Upon arrival, the victim voluntarily allowed the two females into her home. Once inside, one of the two suspects found $10,000 in cash stored inside an envelope in the victim’s bedroom, took the fi lled envelope, and fl ed the scene with the other suspect, according to authorities. There were no reported injuries. The investigation by the 111th Precinct is ongoing. All calls and messages are kept confi dential. 114th Precinct Astoria, Long Island City Bandit abandons robbery bid at bank in Astoria Police are looking for a man who u n s u c c e s s f u l l y tried to rob a Chase Bank in Astoria on Sept. 9. On Sept. 9 at approximately 4 p.m., a man entered the bank at 22-30 31st St. and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller refused to give the suspect money and he fl ed, police said. There were no reported injuries. The suspect is described as Hispanic male in his mid 30s, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches and 180 pounds with a medium build, black hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a tan short-sleeved T-shirt, black pants and black shoes. All calls are kept confi dential. 115th Precinct Corona, East Elmhurst, Jackson Heights Stranger gropes dog-walker in Jackson Heights Police are looking for a man who forcibly grabbed a woman’s groin as she walked her dog on a Jackson Heights street. The woman was walking on 85th Street and 37th Avenue on Aug. 25th at about 5:40 a.m. The suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her groin. He then fl ed the location in a white sedan toward 37th Avenue, police said. The individual is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25- to 35-years-old, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches and 150 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt.
