The session is suitable for all levels and suggested admission is $5 but free for members. The Hall is located at 137-35 Northern Blvd. Now that everyone is back from the holiday weekend, the Kew Gardens Community Center is commemorating the Fourth of July with a potluck picnic. The event is located at Fort Totten Park, 208 Totten Avenue and is from 1 to 4 p.m. The Church of the Resurrection will be having a mini summer treasure and book sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, and from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. There will be house wares, books, DVDs, VHS tapes, small appliances, toys, household items, one-of-a-kind items and much more for sale. EDITOR’S PICK ‘LITTLE RED’S HOOD’ PUPPET SHOW Attend CityParks PuppetMobile’s production “Little Red’s Hood” at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 14. The event is part of “SummerStage Kids,” NYC’s unique, interactive family festival created by the City Parks Foundation. Like many of today’s children, Little Red is a smart, young city slicker who is too focused on her smartphone to notice her surroundings. Wulfric is a misunderstood wolf with a sweet tooth. When Little Red travels from New York City to the country to deliver some cupcakes to her grandma, she encounters a colorful cast of characters as Wulfric the Wolf tries to head her off at the pass.
