sun print book making
with artist Liao Yijun! In this workshop,
participants will be introduced
to basic basic bookmaking skills and
how to make sun prints. The instructor
will introduce various bookmaking
techniques, such as stitch and
stab binding, as well as pop-up,
flip and accordion bookmaking. Sun
printing is based on the “cyano type”
process, which has been used by
artists since its development in the
19th century. Although the event
