The event is held at the museum every spring to acknowledge trailblazers in the media. Plepler was honored for his work as CEO and chairman of Home Box Offi ce Inc. for bringing compelling television shows to 127 million viewers of HBO and Cinemax. Rose has been an innovator in the journalism industry for four decades, including stints as co-anchor of “CBS This Morning” and as a contributing correspondent for “60 Minutes,” and he created his own show having one-on-one in-depth interviews with public fi gures.
