How can a nation measure its gratitude to the brave men and women who have saved and continue to serve this great land of ours? Those that are and have dedicated their lives, their liberty defending and protecting our way of life. The Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, & Airmen’s Club (SSMAC) is non-profi t organization honoring the military in a variety of ways since 1919. Our mission is best epitomized in our creed “To Serve Those Who Have Served Their Country.” We provide safe and affordable accommodations to all of the U.S. Armed Forces, Veterans, their families, and Allies. Since opening our doors ninety-six (96) years ago, we have hosted over fi ve million military offi cers and their families. Conveniently located in midtown Manhattan, our guests can fi nd a warm and comforting place where they can connect with family using computers in the lounge area or via Wi-Fi Internet access, They can also relax in one of the lounges and canteen area where we serve coffee and bagels each morning, we are so much more than a hotel. The SSMAC holds many events each year to support the welfare of our service men and women. Thanksgiving Dinner, Veteran Stand-Down Program, Complimentary Ticket Program, Care Package Program, and our MIA POW Ceremony, just to mention a few.
