According to law enforcement offi cials, at 7:41 a.m. on March 7, a man was spotted on the roof of 141-30 84th Rd. Offi cers from the 107th Precinct and the NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit (ESU) responded to the scene. It was not immediately known why the man climbed up to the roof and stood on the ledge. Offi cers were able to get the man off of the roof of the building at about 9:54 a.m. He was taken into custody and transported to Queens Hospital for an evaluation. 109th Precinct College Point, Flushing, Whitestone Senior injured in Flushing hit-and-run Police are still looking for the driver of an SUV that struck and critically injured a 76-year-old man as he biked along a Flushing street on Friday aft ernoon. “When Only The Best Will Do!” Great Quality, Fair Pricing! Authorities said the hit-and-run crash took place at 5:30 p.m. on March 3 at the corner of Elder Avenue and Colden Street. According to law enforcement sources, the 76-year-old man was pedaling his bicycle northbound on Colden Street when he was hit by a teal Honda CRV traveling through the intersection. Despite striking the man, police said, the vehicle did not stop; it was last seen heading turning southbound on Kissena Boulevard at Franklin Avenue. Offi cers from the 109th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Th e bicyclist, who suff ered head trauma, was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens hospital in critical condition. Th e NYPD released video of the SUV involved in the crash. All calls and messages are kept confi dential. 111th Precinct Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck Bandit sought for holding up Bayside bar Police have released surveillance video of the suspect who robbed a Bayside bartender at gunpoint in the early hours of Monday, Feb. 27. Th e incident occurred at J.D.’s Saloon, located at 208-11 35th Ave. within the confi nes of the 111th Precinct, at approximately 3:11 a.m., police said. A 35-yearold male employee told authorities that a perpetrator entered the saloon, proceeded to the bar counter, displayed a fi rearm and demanded cash. Th e employee handed the perpetrator a bag containing approximately $700. Th e suspect then fl ed the scene on foot, making a right turn out of the front exit and fl eeing in an unknown direction. Th e suspect is described as a lightskinned male, approximately 30 to 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a red hooded sweater, dark colored pants and a black ski cap. All calls and messages are kept confi dential. 112th Precinct Forest Hills & Rego Park Knockout robber on the run Cops released on March 8 a video of the getaway car used by a man who knocked out and robbed a 53-year-old woman on a Forest Hills street last week. Th e suspect is also connected to two other violent robberies targeting older women in the area. Th e footage of the blue sedan, believed to be a Mercury Grand Marquis, was shot from a home on Harrow Street near 71st Avenue, a short distance from where the victim was attacked at 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 28. Th e car could be seen heading eastbound on Harrow Street. Police previously released a sketch of the suspect sought for the mugging and two similar attacks in the confi nes of the 112th Precinct dating back to January. Regarding the Feb. 28 attack, police said, the suspect was observed exiting from the blue sedan, which had been parked near by, and approaching the woman. He then struck her three times in the head with an unidentifi ed object, causing the victim to lose consciousness. When she came to, authorities noted, the woman discovered that her handbag -- which contained debit and credit cards, as well as $51 in cash -- was missing. Police determined that the thief, aft er knocking the woman out, grabbed her purse and fl ed the scene inside the blue sedan. Th e victim was taken to Forest Hills Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening. During their investigation, detectives determined that the same suspect is connected to the Jan. 18 knifepoint robbery of a 63-year-old woman at the corner of 65th Avenue and 99th Street in Rego Park. Police also linked the suspect to the Feb. 8 robbery of an 82-year-old woman in front of a home on 70th Road near 110th Street in Forest Hills. Th e NYPD described the suspect as a black male between 5 foot 8 inches and 6 feet tall with a medium build, who was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt.
