The story tells of a former Negro league baseball player whose son is now following his own baseball dream. Showings take place from Feb. 18 to 21 at 7:30 p.m. The Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning is located on 153-10 Jamaica Ave. What is fun? That’s correct, Jeopardy is fun. The Queens Library of Woodside will be holding a game show event for children grades 2 and up. Children have the opportunity to win prizes as their knowledge is put to the test. The Chinese Lunar New Year is an age old celebration revered by onefi fth of the world’s population. For the second year in a row, Flushing Town Hall is hosting its Chinese New Year Bazaar, resembling a traditional temple fair. The Bazaar will include food and performances. Those who wish to attend must choose from one of two sessions, either 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 to 4 p.m. Tickets are priced at $5 for adults and $3 for children. Flushing Town Hall is located on 137- 35 Northern Blvd. The universe is full of stars as far as the eye can see, so grab a telescope and take a look! The Alley Pond Environmental Center presents “Exploring the Night Sky” as part of its interactive astronomy program. This program allows adults and children ages 9 and up (if accompanied by an adult) to learn about basic astronomy by viewing constellations and planets, from Orion’s nebula to Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. This program is priced at $15 per person and will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at 228-06 Northern Blvd. in Douglaston. SUNDAY, FEB. 21 Because the Muppets fi lms are such timeless classics, the Museum of the Moving Image has decided to hold a screening of “Muppet Treasure Island.” This screening in honor of the movie’s 20th anniversary, will be held at 1 p.m. at the Museum of the Moving Image, located on 36-01 35th Ave. in Astoria.
