Monisha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from New York University in 2004. After a few years of consulting, she began her fi rst company, MASA Group, a consulting company focusing on web development and IT consulting. Starting in 2010, Monisha consulted for MAR AIR Foods, an airport concessionaire, and learned that she loved it. After many successful years with MASA Group, she decided to move into the restaurant business for a new challenge. She opened her fi rst café, FIX Coffee & Bakery, at LaGuardia Airport in 2012. In 2014, Monisha jumped at the opportunity to open Dunkin’ Donuts and she learned a new concept and the support of a franchise. Monisha aims to make guest satisfaction and employee happiness her number one priority. Monisha has been pushed and challenged in every aspect of the hospitality business, but she enjoys the busy lifestyle and is very excited to continue growing in the industry. Giorgio’s consists of upscale salons and spas throughout the tri-state area leading in beauty and brilliance. We have been in existence for many decades and celebrate our 60th anniversary this year continuing the years of accommodating our very loyal and beautiful clientele. We specialize in bridal parties, hair color, hair extensions, keratin treatments and many other specialty hair and personal services. We are a full service chain of salons that stick to our motto of creating beauty not only on the outside of our clients but on the inside as well. We also have customer appreciation events and salon socials to incorporate social aspects into our very professional workplace. I look forward to all of the continued success and new endeavors Giorgio’s will bring for me and for the world of beauty. Attorney at Law Scottie Celestin was born and raised in Laurelton, Queens. He attended the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Affairs and Community, with Honors. During his undergraduate career, he served as an intern in the New York State Assembly in Albany, the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington D.C., as well as with the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation in Jamaica, Queens. Mr. Celestin then went on to lead constituent affairs operations for a member of the New York State Senate, before departing to continue his education.Mr. Celestin is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School. To compliment his years of legal study, he served as a law clerk in the Federal Communication Commission›s Investigations & Hearing Division, as well as the Offi ce of Commissioner. Upon graduation, he returned to the New York State Senate to work as a Policy Advisor in the Offi ce of the Senate Majority Leader. Mr. Celestin then went on to serves as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens, before deciding to open his own legal practice four years ago. The Celestin Firm, PLLC specializes in all aspects of criminal law and civil litigation. Mr. Celestin is licensed to practice in Federal Court, having been admitted to the Eastern and Southern District of New York. SCOTTIE SCOTTIE CELESTIN H H MATTHEWS Club Manager, Silver Gull Beach Club Raised in Breezy Point, New York, Kimberly Matthews has been working at the Breezy Point Surf Club since the young age of 15 years old. After graduating from St. Joseph’s College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, Kim accepted a full time position working as the night manager at the Breezy Point Surf Club. This past year Kim was promoted to the club manager position at the Silver Gull Beach Club, Breezy Point Surf Club’s sister property, also located in Breezy Point. Kim has had a history of leadership roles in her lifetime, being chosen the captain of both her high school and college women’s varsity volleyball teams. In her spare time Kim is currently an assistant coach for the women’s varsity volleyball team at St. Joseph’s College. KIM H
