Police are on the hunt for a young man who kicked and damaged an Uber driver’s car and ran in Flushing earlier this month. According to police, on Friday, Jan. 6, at around 10 p.m., an Uber driver went to pick up a group of people at 27-43 170th St. Upon arrival, the driver decided to decline the ride after seeing how big the group was. One individual got angry after the driver wouldn’t take them, leading him to kick the rear door of the car. The suspect then took off northbound on 170th Street. The kicker is described as a white male, aged 16 to 17 years old. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. All calls and messages are kept confidential. 112th Precinct Forest Hills and Rego Park Knife-wielding robber attacks in Rego Park Police released video =of a man who allegedly robbed a woman at knifepoint and assaulted her on a Rego Park street last week. According to authorities, the robbery took place at 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday night, Jan. 18, at the corner of 65th Avenue and 99th Street. Law enforcement sources said the victim was walking through the area when she was approached by the suspect, who is described as a black male standing 5 foot 8 inches tall and wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt. Police said the perpetrator displayed a knife, then punched the woman in the face and grabbed her purse, which contained an iPhone and credit card. The suspect then fled the location on foot eastbound on 65th Avenue toward 102nd Street. Officers from the 112th Precinct responded to the incident; the victim suffered bruises to her face, but refused medical attention. All calls and messages are kept confidential. 114th Precinct Astoria & Long Island City Cops make a big drug bust in Astoria Cops from the 114th Precinct in Astoria responded to a call about an assault and instead found several guns, ammunition and a plethora of drugs including cocaine, heroin and prescription pills. On Jan. 22 at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers drove to a three-story apartment building in the vicinity of 21st Street and 24th Avenue to inspect a complaint. Once at the apartment, they saw a male retreat into an apartment on the firstfloor once he saw the cops, according to Captain Peter Fortune, commanding officer of the 114th Precinct. When officers entered the apartment, authorities said, they saw guns and a large amount of drugs scattered throughout the apartment. The man in the first floor apartment then fled through a window and entered an apartment on the third floor. Cops entered the third-floor apartment, where they arrested the man along with five others. Officers obtained search warrants for both apartments and found three guns including a .40-caliber Sig Sauer semi-automatic, ammunition, cocaine, heroin and prescription pills. 115th Precinct Corona, East Elmhurst, Jackson Heights Suspect still at large in Jackson Heights shooting Police are looking for a perpetrator who shot a 24-year-old man in the torso on a Jackson Heights street. On Jan. 17 at approximately 8:37 p.m., the victim was approached at 90-01 37th Ave. by the gunman who shot him once on the right side of his torso. The suspect fled on foot while the suspect went to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male and he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black sneakers and a black bandana.
