 FOR THANKSGIVING DAY
 THE UPRISING OF
 THE WARSAW GHETTO
An Original Opera by 89 year old, Holocaust Survivor
Harry Bialor with Soloists, Chorus and Orchestra
 conducted by Pacien Mazzagatti
Harry Bialor, age 12, hid from the Germans for
two years between 1941 and 1943 in an
underground potato cellar with his sister and
two other adolescents. They could only sit up
in the small space and went out at night
stealing food and livestock from the other
area farmers. He lost his parents, his oldest
brother and another sister and brother to the
 German killing squads.
The opera tells the story of modern day Israel
in the first act and their victory at Entebbe,
Uganda in 1976. The second act goes back in
time to Warsaw 1942 and the tremendous
destruction that happened to the Jewish
population of the Warsaw Ghetto. The music
Harry has written is absolutely gorgeous, the
soloists are top-notch, the chorus is
dedicated and the story inspirational and
 heart-rending
