Be As Smart As Your Grandchildren!
NST SPECIAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE TO TEACH NEW SKILLS
With a bad winter coming, cases of bottled water and paper goods would be good to
have. If you only knew how to order from Amazon.
A long winter means isolation. Feeling close to family or joining a NST activity would
make things a little easier. The key is knowing how to use Zoom.
Who do you call for help every time? A grandchild, of course!
The NST Special Projects Committee Will Be Offering a Free Program to
Develop Key Computer Skills*
Instruction will include:
Use of Email
Performing Google searches
Obtaining information via the Internet
Purchasing online for food, household supplies, etc.
Texting
Placing and receiving FaceTime calls
Joining in Zoom gatherings or meetings
Keeping up-to-date with NST info via BuildingLink
Using Next Door Neighbor
Interested in learning one or more of these skills? It’s easy!
Begin by contacting one of our Coordinators. Next, supply them with your contact
information. Most important, tell them the skills you would like to learn.
You will be matched with the committee member best able to teach you.
