Rabbi Gordon Yaffe is originally from Bethesda, Maryland, was ordained as a Conservative Rabbi in
1990 by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, has been the Rabbi of Temple Beth Shalom in
Stratford, CT, Temple Beth El in Oakhurst, NJ and is currently in the beginning of his 10th year as the
spiritual leader of Congregation L’Dor V’Dor—Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center. Rabbi Yaffe has
lived in Israel for a year and has been to Israel as the Rabbinic Chair of a UJA Federation Mission, a
delegate to the World Zionist Congress, a Tour Leader for two congregational trips. He has been a
student at the Hartman Institute in Jerusalem and has been a delegate to an Israeli convention of
the Rabbinical Assembly. For the past 10 years, Rabbi Yaffe has been a delegate at the AIPAC policy
conference in Washington D.C. and has attended numerous AIPAC Rabbinic Symposiums and
meetings. He is a patriotic American, a passionate Zionist and lives his life with great love for God,
Torah and the Jewish People.
