Latkes, candle-lighting, music and more with entertainer Douglas Leblang There is still time to sign up for Migdal/Hadassah’s festive Chanukah Party on Wednesday, December 14, at 7:30 p.m at Towers on the Green. Only $25 per person! This Chanukah celebration will feature a candle-lighting ceremony and traditional foods such as latkes, doughnuts and other desserts. Celebrated performer and NST favorite, Douglas Leblang, known throughout the Metropolitan area for his joyous one-man Klezmer band, will be the featured entertainer. Leblang has appeared often at the 92nd Street Y, as well as dozens of New York area synagogues, senior centers, JCCs, YMHAs and health care facilities. His repertoire covers the entire musical spectrum: standards, traditional, ethnic, international, big band and music for dancing. Leblang always inspires his audiences to clap, sing and dance Admission to this fun-filled event is $25 a person. To register for the Chanukah party, a check made out to Hadassah is required by December 7.
