 BENSONHURST—BATH BEACH 
 Bottled up rage 
 Cops cuffed a man for allegedly  
 smacking his friend in the face with  
 a glass bottle on 17th Avenue on  
 July 25. 
 The victim told cops that the suspect  
 smashed a glass bottle on the  
 side of his face after he and the suspect  
 got into an argument near 64th  
 Street  at  around  5:54  pm,  causing  
 laceration  around  the  victim’s  left  
 eye.  
 First responders took the victim  
 to Maimonides Medical  Center  for  
 his injuries, authorities said.  
 E-bike bandit 
 A good-for-nothing stole an ebike  
 from New Utrecht Avenue and  
 71st Street on July 26. 
 The victim told cops that he left  
 his  $1,760  e-bike  unattended  while  
 he went inside a deli at 4:50 pm, and  
 when he came out, he saw the thief  
 speeding  down  the  street  on  his  
 bike and making a right turn onto  
 Bay Ridge Parkway. 
 Cig sneak 
 A sneak thief nabbed 10 packs of  
 cigarettes from a man’s 70th Street  
 apartment sometime between June  
 29 and July 22. 
 The victim told police that while  
 he was hospitalized, a burglar —  
 perhaps his roommate — broke the  
 lock to his room in his apartment between  
 19th and 20th avenues, before  
 cutting the padlock on his dresser  
 and stealing 10 packs of cigarettes  
 from the drawer. 
 Pistol whipped 
 A slimeball smacked a teenager  
 with a gun after stealing his bike  
 and  wallet  on  78th  Street  on  July  
 19.  
 The 17-year-old victim told cops  
 that the dirtbag pointed a gun at  
 him and said, “Give me your money,  
 give me your bike,” near    Stillwell  
 Avenue at 11:50 pm before snatching  
 his electronics, bike, wallet, and  
 $300 — and hit him in the head with  
 the gun before riding off.

 SEAGATE 
 Hit n swipe 
 A thief swiped a man’s iPhone  
 on Cropsey Avenue after he had attempted  
 to fl ee from an accident on  
 July 22.  
 The  victim  told  police  that  he  
 was hit by a gray vehicle that he followed  
 to the intersection of Neptune  
 Avenue at around 11:50 am, but the  
 lout got out of the vehicle and took  
 his cellphone, before driving off.

 Collision causes 16-wheeler

 Shower power 
 Beach bandits mugged a man’s  
 cell phone and wallet on Riegelmann  
 Boardwalk West on July 22.  
 The  victim  told  police  that  he  
 was using the showers near Stillwell  
 Avenue at around 7 am when  
 the baddie got angry and took his  
 belongings from his pockets.  
 Stranger danger 
 A ruffi an stole a man’s shoulder  
 bag after he was invited into a  
 Brighton  Fourth  Street  apartment  
 on July 21.  
 The  victim  told  police  that  he  
 walked into the apartment between  
 Ocean View and Brighton Beach  
 Avenues to fi nd a man holding a  
 black shotgun around 11:30 am, who  
 snagged his belongings.

 BROOKLYN HEIGHTS–DUMBO– 
 BOERUM HILL–DOWNTOWN 
 Bridge mugger 
 A pillager snatched a woman’s  
 purse on the Manhattan Bridge on  
 July 22. 
 The victim told cops that the pirate  
 grabbed her bag from behind  
 while she was heading toward the  
 Big Apple at around 8 am, pulling  
 her with him as she held onto the  
 purse until she fell over. 
 Cop kicker 
 Cops cuffed a man for allegedly  
 kicking offi cers who were trying  
 to eject him from the Borough  
 Hall subway station near Montague  
 Street on July 23. 
 The arresting offi cer  told  her  
 colleagues that the suspect was lying  
 outstretched on the stairs to the  
 train platform near Clinton Street  
 at 1:15 pm, and when she told the  
 man to leave, he started kicking  
 and punching the cops, hitting one  
 in the head, neck, and arms. 
 Police arrested the man and  
 charged him with felony assault. 
 Subway scumbag 
 Some yahoo attacked a train conductor  
 at the Jay Street-MetroTech  
 station on July 25. 
 The victim told police that the attacker  
 slammed the conductor window  
 closed onto her fi ngers  on  the  
 A train’s Queens-bound platform at  
 10:50 pm, before swinging his cane  
 at the side of the train. 
 The conductor got off the train at  
 the Queens  terminus  of  the  line  to  
 seek treatment for her injuries. 
 Bike bandit 
 A brigand swiped a Citi Bike on  
 Pacifi c Street sometime between  
 July 19 and 23. 
 The victim told police that he left  
 the bike undocked between Nevins  
 Street and Third Avenue, when the  
 thief hopped on the blue two-wheeler  
 and pedaled off. 
 88TH PRECINCT  
 FORT GREENE-CLINTON HILL 
 Cop attack! 
 A man falsely identifi ed himself  
 as a cop while three accomplices attacked  
 a victim over a parking dispute  
 on Myrtle Avenue on July 24. 
 The victim told police one man  
 claimed he was an offi cer  and  
 fl ashed a badge near Ryerson Street  
 at 7:45 pm and punched him in the  
 face, before three of his perp friends  
 violently attacked him.  
 Police notifi ed their Internal Affairs  
 Bureau regarding the attack,  
 according to the authorities. 
 NYCHA menace 
 A goon roughed up a public housing  
 employee at a Monument Walk  
 complex on July 22. 
 The  victim  told  police  that  the  
 bruiser slammed her head into an  
 elevator, pushed her to the fl oor,  
 and demanded that she hand over  
 cash on the 11th fl oor of a building  
 near Park Avenue at 10:10 am, before  
 punching her several times and  
 running off with $20, a radio, and a  
 cellphone. 
 Crooked cabbie 
 A taxi driver nabbed a woman’s  
 phone on Myrtle Avenue on July 22. 
 The  victim  told  police  that  the  
 brigand yanked her phone from her  
 hand at Adelphi Street at 8:50 pm before  
 speeding  off  toward  Flatbush  
 Avenue.

 Two trucks collided at a busy  
 Brooklyn intersection on July 24,  
 causing one of the large haulers to  
 fl ip onto its side, police said. 
 The crash occurred at about  
 12:10 pm on July 24 when a cement  
 mixer traveling north on Vandervoort  
 Avenue slammed into a large  
 box truck making a turn onto Maspeth  
 Avenue in Williamsburg. The  
 box truck, belonging to Reyes Produce  
 of the Bronx, lost control and  
 fell onto its driver side, blocking  
 the eastbound lanes of traffi c.  It  
 had only empty skids on board. 
 The cement truck belonged  
 to  Ridgewood-based  Alpine  Concrete. 
 The drivers of both vehicles  
 suffered minor injuries and were  
 taken to Woodhull Hospital. 
 A heavy-duty tow truck was required  
 to lift the box truck and remove  
 it  from the roadway so that  
 traffi c could fl ow freely. Firefi ghters  
 also doused the scene as oil and  
 transmission  fl uid  fl ooded  onto  
 the roadway from both vehicles. 
 No charges were fi led against either  
 driver, police say, pending further  
 investigation.
