Outdoor dining has been a saving grace for
Brooklyn businesses trying to stay afl oat amid the
ongoing coronavirus pandemic — and Bay Ridge
 is no exception.
As the city continues to progressively reopen,
business owners have had to weather the storm
 — and more recently contend with everchanging
guidelines from the city’s Department of Transportation.
But still, the transition to al fresco dining has
been an exciting one for many of southern Brooklyn’s
local eateries, where people can be caught enjoying
a good meal or a cold brew with a friends
and family during these trying times.
Looking ahead, outdoor dining is slated to remain
on the table for city restaurants until at least
 October.
