Advice On How To Find Your Soulmate
Dear MTN, I’m in my 30’s and
have been going out with my boyfriend
since high school. We’ve been
breaking up on and off all during
college. I love him and consider him
my best friend, but we seem to fight
over everything now that we live together.
I feel my biological clock is
ticking. I’ve invested so much time
in him already. What do you think I
should I do? Thanks, Mary
Dear Mary, when it comes to relationships,
it never pays to break
up and go backwards! I have never
seen it work out. You have given
him your most valuable years
which would be fine if things were
great, but that is not the case. Do
not waste anymore of your precise
time on him hoping he will magically
become Mr. Right. Keep him
as a friend and look for Mr. Right.
Dear MTN, what should I do if my
family especially my Mom hates my
girlfriend? Brian
Dear Brian, that is a huge red flag and I
suggest you dump her now! Your family
probably knows you better than anyone
else and I’m sure they want the best for
you. When people are in relationships,
they tend to be blinded by certain aspects
of the person they are dating. Families
typically can notice things about
your girlfriend that you do not notice!
Plus, Moms have a unique ability to see
right through a person’s true personality
when it comes to dating their children.
Good luck on your search.
