2020 SUNY Old Westbury
Admissions Open House. To be
held on Saturday, April 25, at 9
a.m., Open House is expected to
attract more 1,000 prospective
students and their families to the
College’s 604-acre Nassau County
campus.
From its competitive Honors
College to its unique First-Year
Student Civic Engagement program,
SUNY Old Westbury’s reputation for
quality has enabled it to be among the
fastest-growing SUNY campuses over
the past decade, with more than 60
percent growth since 2008.
“Open House is an opportunity to really
see what our campus is about, to hear
from students about their experiences
here, and to learn what Old Westbury
has to offer,” said Frank Pizzardi, acting
vice president for enrollment services.
“For many of our current students, and
for thousands of successful Old Westbury
alumni, Open House was the beginning
of a successful college search.”
Open House offers the opportunity
to meet with faculty and explore the
more than 60 bachelor’s and
master’s degree programs offered
through Old Westbury’s School
of Arts and Sciences, School of
Business, School of Education
and School of Professional
Studies. Attendees can also
learn about the College’s study
abroad programs, internship
opportunities, micro-credential
offerings, its accelerated degree
program for students interested in
pursuing a medical degree and more.
