Liver Donation
Looking for a generous person who
would be willing to learn more about
becoming a Living Liver Donor.
Ideal candidate has TYPE O blood (can be O+ or O-)
If interested in donating but have another blood type, please still
contact us as there is the possibility of doing a donor swap/match.
If you are between 18 and 60 years old, are in good health, and want
to help save a life, please contact us at the email address below.
Fact about liver donations – the donor gives only a small piece of
their liver to the recipient and the donor’s liver regenerates on its own,
and very quickly!!
Your liver should be back to full size within about 6 weeks!! The surgery
is laparoscopic (non-invasive) and leaves a very small scar.
Unfortunately, none of our family members meet the criteria to be a
donor, which is why we are reaching out to others for their help.
The recipient has dedicated his life & career to public service. Is also the
proud father of an ex-United States marine and current police academy
cadet.
He Loves music, bee-keeping, fishing, laughing, and his family - wife Kathy
and children Matt, Nicole & Danny — and having a healthy liver!
