Starting a business featuring modern Oaxacan handicrafts has
been a vision for Adriana of Adriana Boutique Y Accesorios
ever since she was a fashion design major in university. Earlier
this year, she actualized the vision, opening up shop at 45-12
46th Street in Sunnyside, in a shared space with La Nacional.
Through the store window, one spies purses, wraps, and shoes rich with
colorful, painstaking embroidery, show-stopping beaded jewelry, and other
treasures that reflect the artisanal heritage of Oaxaca.
