On the menu: Italian, Romanian, Japanese, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Mexican, Irish, Thai, Colombian, Tibetan, Filipino, French, Seasonal American, and more. “We are really looking forward to Sunnyside Restaurant Week this year,” said Rachel Thieme, executive director of Sunnyside Shines. “Last year’s event was a big success for neighborhood restaurants and I am proud that we have doubled the number of participating businesses this year. This event highlights the diverse range of restaurants in Sunnyside, but there’s a huge problem - figuring out how to eat in all these amazing restaurants in just one week!” Each participating restaurant will serve a three-course dinner menu for $25, with many others offering additional lunch specials.
