New York Preschool, located at
45-45 Center Blvd., has been serving
youngsters in Long Island City since
2001.
The facility serves children from two
months old to 12 years old and also
stages plays, hosts birthday parties and
other events. The space includes four
classrooms, an outdoor play-space patio
and a gym filled with USA Gymnastic
guideline equipment.
Bryce Walsh, the center’s director,
said New York Preschool is proud of its
low class size and student to teacher
ratio - one teacher to six students. Walsh
also added that the center prides itself
on its cleanly environment.
“What sets NY Preschool apart from
other preschools is our attention to
detail not just in our curriculum but
in the general upkeep of our facility,”

constant maintenance staff helping to
ensure all classrooms and equipment

Island city, ensuring the highest caliber
program and facility as only 10
percent of preschools receive this
accreditation.”
The two- and three-year-old programs
meet for two, three or five days
per week for three hours. The four-yearold
program is a five-day program that
meets for five or six hours.
