CONEY ISLAND CLASSIC
I spent a day on the boardwalk in Coney Island recently.
With camera at hand, I recorded the active social life that unfolds on
that busy stretch of the beach. But my favorite image is one I stumbled
upon on my way back to LIC.
As the sun was losing its strength and the shadows
became long, this scene unfolded before me.
A lime green 1963 Chevy Impala and the Coney
Island roller coaster behind it. Classic Americana. What
a great way to finish my visit to Coney Island.
