■LIC PARTNERSHIP Business Breakfast On Jan. 30, the Long Island City Partnership was joined by representatives from key city, state, and federal agencies, ConEdison, policy experts, financial institutions and practitioners to discuss products available for businesses located and operating in Long Island City. They also discussed the future of economic development in these vital sectors. The event kicked off with a policy panel with Adam Friedman (Pratt Center for Community Development), Kyle Kimball (NYC Economic Development Corporation), Seth Pinsky (RXR Realty), and Joseph Tazewell (Empire State Development). Following an overview by Robert Altman, Esq, our guests attended break out panels on financing and incentives for either large or small scale investments, featuring Gus Buitrago, Steve Cohen, Miquela Craytor, Bryan Doxford, Richard Dzwlewicz, Samuel Freed, Donald Giampietro, Ann Kayman, Jeffrey Lee, Tim Lezgus, Ted Oberman, Juanita Pair, Larry Pontillo, and Chet Sadowski.
