ICONS ON THE STREET
This photograph was taken from a street vendor selling
his religious wares on Roosevelt Avenue in the Jackson
Heights neighborhood. This area of Queens has always
fascinated me, as the immigrant population is so
evident and involved, bringing their culture and flavor
to our great city.
