Action/Adventure; Rated PG-13
“There’s a whole lot of everything in the
‘Mission: Impossible — Fallout,’ an entertainment
machine par excellence that skitters
around the world and has something to do with
nuclear bombs, mysterious threats and dangerous
beauties. Mostly, it has to do with that
hyper-human Tom Cruise, who runs, drives,
dives, shoots, flies, falls and repeatedly teeters
on the edge of disaster, clinging to one after
another cliffhanger.” ~ Manohla Dargis, New
York Times

Comedy; Rated R
“’The Spy Who Dumped Me’ is a fun film,
showcasing the acting chops of Hollywood
A-lister, Mila Kunis and…Kate McKinnon
from Saturday Night Live...the chemistry
between McKinnon’s character, Morgan, an
out-of-work actress and Kunis’ Audrey, a
cashier at a local grocery store, is believable
and is the prime driver of the film. Justin
Theroux provides solid acting support as
Drew, the spy who dumps Kunis’ character,
Audrey…warmly recommended.” ~ Larry
Gleeson, Hollywoodglee.com
Kids Movie: Hotel

Sony Pictures Entertainment Animated Comedy;
Rated PG
“…returning director Genndy Tartakovsky
(“Samurai Jack”) keeps the slapstick coming at
enough of a relentless pace to make this animated
sequel a midsummer delight… ‘Hotel Transylvania
3’ might be aimed at kids, but adults will chuckle at
jokes like an airline run entirely by gremlins…And
let’s not forget that this is the best of the Sandler
franchises, one where his homilies about the importance
of family and of being understanding of others
actually land.” Alonso Duralde, Thewrap.com
