N O V E M B E R Le Havre’s Annual
Halloween Party 2019
BY JILL DAVIS
It was lots of great fun for
kids of all ages at Le Havre’s
annual Halloween Party on
Saturday, October 19.
The Clubhouse opened up
at 12 noon to kids dressed
in costumes that were creative
and colorful, and they
all looked great. The party,
which ran until 3pm, started
with the kids getting down
to work, creating their own
personal picture frames.
Halloween-themed music
played in the background to
get everyone in the mood.
Clubhouse Manager Ydania
Pacheco also got into the
spirit with her spooky witch’s
costume, and the weather was
perfect for her to lead the
kids out to the tennis courts
for a Halloween Parade.
Once back inside, everyone
sat down to some fantastic
food that was cooked
and catered on-site by Sage
Diner proprieter Daniele
Santodonat. The delicious
spread included a veggie platter,
mozzarella sticks, mac ‘n’
cheese bites, and chicken and
beef sliders. Everyone gobbled
it up, and it looked like
no one had to cook dinner
that night! With tummies full,
the kids decorated cupcakes
and pumpkins to round out
the activities.
Ydania was ably assisted
by Lisa, the Clubhouse’s
fitness instructor (and Le
Havre resident), as well as
UrbnPlayground staffers Leo
and Nicole.
All the kids headed home
with a big smile—plus a
bagful of Halloween treats.
There’s no doubt that everyone
is already looking forward
to next year’s Le Havre
Halloween party!
