N O V E M B E R All Treats and No Tricks!
Kids of all ages (and that includes the grownups)
had a great time the Le Havre Clubhouse on
Saturday, October 21 from noon till 3pm for its
annual Halloween party, and how could they not?
As always, the costumes were creative and colorful
and all the kids looked great. The afternoon started
with the kids getting down to work showing off
their arts and crafts skills and decorating pumpkins
(donated by Le Havre’s gardener, Marc Michalic).
But DJ Mario got the real party started by gathering
the kids around for dancing. “Freeze Dance”
is always a favorite, where the children dance and
jump to the music (they basically go a little crazy)…
but then they have to stop in place as soon as the
music stops. Mario introduced a new game this year
too, called “Treasure Hunt,” where he instructed
the kids to grab a particular item and bring it to
him. Paper plates and pumpkins were retrieved as
ordered, but the children got the biggest kick when
they were told to bring back one of their parent’s
shoes!
Pizzas from Cascarino’s arrived promptly at 1:30,
giving everyone a needed break. Soon after, the
kids took part in another favorite game, “Mummy
Wrapping,” which required enough toilet paper to
pretty much cover a football fi eld.
By mid-afternoon it was time to call it a day, and
most certainly the kids (and their parents) went
home tired but happy. No doubt, everybody is
looking forward to next year’s Le Havre Halloween
party!

This is serious work, people.
I can’t help it if I’m cute!
“Where did my pumpkin go?” Nice group shot, kids!
