S E P T E M B E R So Long, Summer…
Well, that sure went fast! It seems like
this summer fl ew by…but then again,
don’t they all?
This year the Le Havre pool was super
busy, hosting parties all summer long
for kids and grown-ups alike. Partygoers
were treated to some great food, excellent
music and fantastic weather. But whether
or not you put on your dancing shoes and
joined in the fun, Clubhouse members
enjoyed the community’s two beautiful
pools throughout the season (and can
continue to work on their tennis game all
the way through October).
This summer was also exceptional as we
were treated to a total eclipse of the sun
on August 21...well, not a total eclipse
here in the northeast, but a 70% eclipse is
nothing to sneeze at (or gaze up at without
proper sunglasses!). Pretty much everybody
at the Pool #2 stopped for a moment
and put on the goofy looking glasses to
catch a glimpse. “It was a fun day!” said
Le Havre resident Eileen Seegull, who was
kind enough to contribute these photos of
the special event. Thanks, Eileen!
As we say goodbye to the summer of
2017, we’ll be sure to remember another
terrifi c season at Le Havre—and look forward
to more fun times in 2018!
Looks like this Elite staffer had a
total eclipse of the heart…
DJ Jeff set the summer stage at Le Havre’s opening Memorial Day party.
