Writers: Jeff Pope, ‘A.J.’ Marriot
Cast: Steve Coogan, John C. Reilly, Shirley

“Even for those well acquainted with the
looks and behavior of the two performers,
it takes no time at all to accept Coogan and
Reilly as Laurel and Hardy…Coogan and
Reilly not only excel at creating convincing
impressions of one of the most famous
comic teams of the last century, but they do
an uncanny job of recreating a handful of
their famous routines…this sweet, small film
makes you smile most of the way through.”

“’Instant Family’ is an absolute delight
from beginning to end, a not so serious
film about a very serious subject, foster
parenting, and a film that successfully
walks that thin line between silly yet sharp
comedy and surprisingly thought dramedy…
I loved everything about ‘Instant
Family’…it makes you laugh and cry.” ~

“A good family movie is free of objectionable content, is
easily understood and enjoyed by children, and provides
some entertainment for adults. A great family movie transcends
these criteria: it becomes more than the sum of its
parts, transporting both children and adults into the very
heart of its story. In short, it has the quality of enchantment.
Christopher Robin, Disney’s live action sequel to its Winnie
the Pooh animated classics, is an enchantingly wonderful
family film.” ~ Kirsten Hawkes, parentpreviews.com
