Message from
the Board President
I am sad to report a significant change
on the Board of Directors as Phil Resnick
resigned from the Board late last
month. Phil has been on the Board
since 2011 and has served as Vice
President since 2012.
Over the years, Phil’s commitment
to the Board and the community has
been outstanding, including his deep
involvement in major capital improvements
such as our oil-to-gas conversion,
reconstruction of our balconies, and the rebuilding of our
sea wall. His input and guidance on these projects, both
in terms of execution and budget considerations, played a
key role in their successful completion. More behind the
scenes, Phil has provided keen perspective in budget and
policy planning and implementation, and his contributions
will be sorely missed.
We thank Phil for his long service on the Board, and wish
him well as he and his wife Bella devote more time traveling
and enjoying their beautiful grandchildren.
The Board is in the process of finalizing the 2020 budget
and a shareholders’ meeting will be scheduled for early December.
A date will be announced as soon as possible.
The recent Coat Drive, which provides winter coats to
those in need, was once again a great success. Thanks go to
Cryder Point Community Affairs for organizing the drive
and of course to all residents who donated.
The 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is underway.
Please keep it in mind the next time you go grocery shopping!
See the flyer for details.
I hope you enjoy the photos from this year’s Halloween
Parade & Party. The weather was great and everyone had
lots of fun. Coming up in December will be the Kids Holiday
Party (date to be announced). Our community involvement
in these charities and events is part of what makes
Cryder Point so special, thank you!
Till next time, Jill Davis
