Halloween Party 2018
Princesses, zombies, firemen, nerds and super heroes
attended the third annual Cryder Point Halloween
Parade and Party on Saturday, October
20. The cold wind and clouds did nothing to dampen the
high spirits of the Cryder kids, grandkids and friends who
joined in. In all, over 30 children joined the fun and festivities.
The 01/21 Courtyard, this year’s home to the fall garden
display, was the meeting point at high noon, and the
parade through the courtyards kicked off the event. Relay
and sack races on the lawn were met with squeals of delight
and laughter. The action then moved inside to the 01
Community Room for refreshments and ghoulish games.
The costumes were amazing, and even the adults joined in.
By 2:00 it was time to call it a day.
Thanks go to Cryder Point Community Affairs volunteers
for organizing the event, including putting together
the decorations, games, snacks, beverages and activities. As
always, they did a wonderful job and earned a big round of
applause for a party the kids really enjoyed.
