Welcome to the CThe best way to cool off!
ryder Point Community Affairs put together the
third annual Cryder Point “Kids Zone” party on
Saturday, August 25. This year’s event, held as always
both poolside and in the 01/21 Courtyard, was attended
by about 55 kids and grown-ups. This was much
bigger turnout than last year--looks like word of this funfest
is getting around--and why shouldn’t it?
First of all, there were the very cool sunglasses that each
kid received when they arrived at the gate (temporary
tattoos were optional). The three-hour party ran from
12noon till 2pm and included games, Cascarino’s pizza,
and prizes for everyone. Best of all, DJ Mario returned this
year and did another terrific job playing the kids’ music
requests and leading them in activities that included parachute
games, cannonball jumps in the pool, a hula hoop
competition, sack races and more.
Thanks again to CPCA, as well as to the staff of Elite
Pool, led by Nick Santo and Shaun McNally, for making
2018’s event even better than last year. There’s no doubt
that everyone went home tired but happy…and already
looking forward to next summer’s Kids’ Zone bash.
