AND BABY MAKES THREE!
Cryder Point warmly welcomes its newest
addition to our community, Brooke
Michelle O’Hare. Brooke is currently our
youngest resident, born on July 4, 2018
(wanna bet that Brooke will soon think all
those Independence Day fireworks are in
honor of her birthday?).
Weighing in at a healthy 8lbs., 12 oz.,
Brooke joins proud parents Michelle and
Daniel O’Hare. By the way, 2018 has been
mighty busy for the O’Hares—not only
did they just have a brand new baby, but
they’re also new shareholders, having just
moved here in January of this year. Wow!
Congratulations to the O’Hare family.
All of us at Cryder Point wish all of you
health, happiness and a heaping helping of
Cryder Point hospitality! Welcome beautiful Brooke!

Message from the Board President
Well this summer went fast! (Maybe not fast enough
what with the weather being so fickle.)
So now it’s back to school time, and in that spirit
Cryder Point proudly took part in the Volunteers
of America’s “Operation Backpack” drive for the
first time this year. This charity collects school
supplies for kids in need, and our residents did
our community proud and really gave to the cause.
Please read Eileen Annechino’s recap of the effort,
and thank you to everyone who participated.
Cryder Point Community Affairs also coordinated the third annual
“Kids Zone” party held at the pool on August 25. It was another great success,
and I hope you enjoy the pictures of the event in this issue.
Speaking of the pool, our thanks go to Elite Management for another
successful season. Pool Manager Shaun McNally and his supervisor, Nick
Santo, did a great job making sure that everything went swimmingly (bad
pun, groan!). Elite will be returning to Cryder Point next year—we may be
tired of the hot weather now, but we’ll be looking forward to that when the
weather turns cold, that’s for sure.
Finally, as previously mentioned, NYC has revamped building codes and
is requiring extensive elevator upgrades throughout the City. As of now, it’s
a two-phased project, which makes the execution and timing challenging.
There is no update to report at this time, but be assured that CPOC, along
with Le Havre and the President’s Co-op and Condo Council, are making
efforts to arrive at a better plan.
Till next time, Jill Davis
