SEPTEMBER 12
Cryder Point Photos of the Month
We have a triple crown this
month! Congratulations go
to Anthony DaPrato, Joe
Hollander and Brett Siegel for their “electrifying”
photos to remind us of that crazy
thunderstorm last month.
And thanks also go out to Rick Buser
and Marsha Gellert for their terrific submissions
this month.
It really says something about the
weather when several photos are of bad
weather! I think we can all agree that this
summer was pretty lousy overall, between
an enormous amount of rain, unrelenting
heat and oppressive humidity. But as we
move into September, I will look on the
sunny side and hope that it brings us some
relief and, of course, lots of opportunities
for more beautiful pictures of Cryder
Point. Looking forward to seeing what
pops up in my inbox!
A reminder about the contest rules:
The photographer must be a resident of
Cryder Point, and all photos must of the
property or of a view from the property.
They also must be current, that is, taken
12 CRYDER POINT COURIER | SEPTEMBER 2018 | WWW.QUEENSCOURIER.COM
no more than a couple of months before
you submit them.
Any description of where you were
on the property, the day of week or time
of day…any details that you can provide
which bring your neighbors into the moment
of the photo…are eagerly welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@qns.
com and yours might be selected to be
featured in the paper. Please be sure to put
“Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line
of your email and include the full name
of the photographer and an approximate
date of the picture.
