Congratulations go to Jaclyn Rubin, August’s
Photo of the Month winner!
Speaking of August, this is an anniversary of sorts,
as the Photo of the Month column kicked off one
year ago this month. Over the year more and more
people have begun to share their beautiful pictures,
and the paper has so far published approximately 60
photographs submitted by no less than 25 different
residents (not counting this month’s entries)!
And again, we have an abundance of photographic
riches this month, with too many submissions to
print. However, we’ve managed to represent each
artist with at least one of their pictures, and others
will appear in future issues.
Thanks to all of our photographers: Helena Bergfield,
Madelyn Dupre, Dorene Finnegan, Marsha
Gellert, Joseph Hollander, Brett Siegel and Joseph
Strippoli.
A reminder about the contest rules:
The photographer must be a resident of Cryder
Point, and all photos must of the property or of a view
from the property. They also must be current, that is,
taken no more than a couple of months before you
submit them.
Any description of where you were on the property,
the day of week or time of day…any details that you
can provide which bring your neighbors into the moment
of the photo…are eagerly welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@qns.com and yours
might be selected to be featured in the paper. Please
be sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line
of your email and include the full name of the photographer
and an approximate date of the picture.
