WWW.QNS.COM | JULY 2021| CRYDER POINT COURIER 9
BY JILL DAVIS
We’re treated to two ‘double takes’ this month with Marsha
Gellert and Rob Cohen each submitting variations on
their themes of sunsets and skyline views from Cryder
Point.
Just to make sure we fully appreciate the variety of beauty
around us, Rob also sent in his photos of a lovely rainbow
and an early morning view taken at the end of June. Michael
Conte got into the act with his crack-of-dawn photos
(the first one taken before 5:00 am—you’d think it was
evening!). Joe Hollander shared a beautiful picture of the
bridge which wouldn’t be unusual except that he took this
in the afternoon—very surprising coming from him!
Thanks to everyone for their submissions this month.
Now it’s July and the weather can get hot, hot, hot…but
don’t let a little heat deter you. You might feel as if you’ll
melt in the heat, but your cameras won’t!
A reminder about the contest rules:
The photographer must be a resident of Cryder
Point, and all photos must of the property or of a
view from the property. They also must be current,
that is, taken no more than a couple of months before
you submit them.
Any description of where you were on the property,
the day of week or time of day…any details that you
can provide which bring your neighbors into the moment
of the photo…are eagerly welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@qns.com and yours
might be selected to be featured in the paper. Please
be sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject
line of your email and include the full name of the
photographer and an approximate date of the picture.
