film star, Rudolph Valentino.
Vivo! offers a mixture of
Italian and Greek food, with
an emphasis on seafood,
including a raw bar. Its menu
includes very fresh and delicious
meals with a variety
of appetizers, salads,and
main dishes, ranging from
filet mignon (Phil’s favorite
meat) to one of my favorites,
Branzino (European sea
bass). Their pastas are wonderful,
as are the sides and
desserts. There is also a lovely
bar to enjoy cocktails.
The restaurant is beautiful,
as is the outdoor dining area,
which is scheduled to open
soon. The service is excellent
and extremely helpful! There
will be an update on many
new features as the restaurant
keeps moving ahead. There is
also a delightful party room
and several areas for additional
events as well as valet
parking.
Vivo! is located at 20-10
Cross Island Parkway near
the Throg’s Neck Bridge. It
is open Tuesday through
Sunday for dinner from 5pm
to 11pm and on Sundays for
brunch from 11am to 3pm.
It is closed on Mondays.
