Message from the BOARD PRESIDENT A Very Busy Month First, thanks to all who attended the Shareholders’ meeting on March 28th. It was a great turnout (the room was packed!). Most of the meeting involved extensive questions and answers about the terrace project, and it was great to see so much involvement from the community. One outcome of the meeting was the on-the-spot decision to form a sub-committee to discuss the aesthetics of the terraces. There were a lot of questions about this issue at the meeting, and it was clear that this topic requires more conversation. Several people volunteered immediately, and we set aside Saturday, April 13, to convene. We’ll keep you posted on developments. Terrace work will begin on the G/H and J/K lines of the 41 Building the week of April 22. A notification has gone out to the 41 building, and notices will be forthcoming as dates are announced for upcoming lines throughout the project. We’ve included some helpful guidelines for preparing your terrace for the work, and we’ll be reprinting these regularly as the work progresses. Finally, the QLC held an Easter Egg Hunt for kids of all ages on Saturday, March 23rd. Check out the recap and the photos of the adorable kids. Also, due to an editorial error in last month’s issue, the QLC’s request for activity ideas was omitted, but you’ll find it here this month. Please send them your ideas! That about wraps it up for now. See you next month, Jill Davis Jill Davis C R Y D E R P O I N T 4 APRIL APRIL 2013 ANNOUNCEMENTS & REMINDERS: Apartment Problems: If you have a problem in your apartment such as heat, plumbing, etc., please contact your Concierge.
